A huge well done to the students who ran stalls at this week's Christmas Enterprise Market!
Ascott took the top spot, raising the most for charity. Together, everyone raised a fantastic £480 for Diabetes UK, the Hospice of St Francis, Cancer Research UK, World Challenge, and Dragon’s Apprentice.

Yesterday, a group of Year 7 students attended a Science Club workshop, ‘Sorting Santa’s Speakers’. The workshop focused on using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) skills within a Christmas-themed scenario. Students used household items to create working speakers to play Christmas carols. There was much excitement when the speakers actually worked !🎄🎶✨

Candlelit Carol Service in St Peter & St Pauls Church in Tring

With Tring Church and Tring School Choirs. We hear the Christmas story in readings and songs.
After the service mulled wine, Tring Brewery beer, coffee and mince pies will be served.

This week, a group of Year 9 students attended the Triple Science workshop, featuring festive-themed activities! They got hands-on experience in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲: Students used a microscope to view festive items & diagnosed "elf ailments" by testing (simulated) urine for glucose, pH, and protein 🔬 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲: They created a rainbow "chemis-tree" using different concentrations of acids and alkalis and universal indicators🌈 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐬: Students created a festive density tube-tree by calculating and layering liquids of different densities🧪#TringSchool #SchoolLife #TripleScience #ScienceInSchools

Today we celebrated students from across the year groups, who have all achieved over 800 positive behaviour points this term. By hitting the Bronze award, they were invited to come along to a celebration breakfast, enjoy a croissant, and play some games with their friends. Congratulations to them all !

If you sat an external exam in 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 we have your certificates ready for collection. This includes 𝗚𝗖𝗦𝗘, 𝗔 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹, & 𝗕𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 exams.
Certificates will be retained for 12 months, after which time they may be destroyed. If a replacement is then needed, a duplicate award fee will be required by the exam board.
Please pop into school Reception between 9.30 am and 4.00 pm with some ID and collect them whilst you can!

Where: Online (Google Meet).
Registration Deadline: Please register your interest to attend via the Google Form shared in last week's letter. The form will remain open until 4pm on Monday 8th December.

We are looking forward to welcoming Year 9 families to the Options Evening on Thursday 4 December from 5.30 - 8.00 pm. Subject Leaders, teachers and student representatives will be available to answer any questions you may have and give more information about courses in a market-style format in the Desborough Hall. There will also be a short formal presentation in the Dining room at the following times:
Ascott & Claydon students: 5.45 - 6.15 pm
Halton & Waddesdon students: 6.30 - 7.00 pm
The Sixth Form Social Committee will be selling refreshments during the evening, raising money for their Leavers’ Prom.
