Post 16 Options
Choosing the right path after GCSEs is a pivotal decision that will significantly shape your future. It's a time to explore your passions, develop your skills, and prepare for the next chapter whether that be Sixth Form, College, Apprenticeships, T Levels or Traineeships.
At Tring School we understand the weight of this decision and are dedicated to providing an outstanding post-16 experience. We create a comprehensive and diverse programme; please see below for a timeline of support.
- Sixth Form Open Evening | 15 October 2026
- Drop Down Days on Futures to include presentations by current Sixth Form students and Bucks College on college/apprenticeships/T Levels | 3 February 2027
- Lifeskills lessons on college/apprenticeships/T Levels and Sixth Form | September/October 2026.
- Sixth Form assembly | November 2025
- 1 to 1 meetings with a member of the Leadership team | January/February 2027
- Ongoing | meeting with careers advisor (1-1) throughout the academic year. All year 11 pupils will be given at least 1 careers meeting. Your individual action plans will be posted on Unifrog. If you want an additional meeting please request this through Mrs.Hitchin.
- College/T Level open days - happening throughout the academic year.
