In 2018 Tring School celebrated another year of excellent A Level and BTEC results. 58% of students have achieved A*, A and B grades and 69% of BTEC students achieved a Distinction* or Distinction. In 2017 Tring School Sixth Form was ranked 9th overall in Hertfordshire. 

The ethos of the Sixth Form is one which places great emphasis on individual needs and pastoral care to ensure each student is successful. We have a rigorous system of tracking student progress and invest quality time in intervention strategies.  Our Tracking and Monitoring student photo board is at the centre of all of our work with students and is a highly successful tool. Ofsted state ‘Sixth-form leaders monitor standards closely and pursue excellence. Students rise to this challenge and make sustained and substantial progress in their learning. Academic results for students in Tring School Sixth Form are consistently above average. 'Tring School Sixth Form is outstanding'.
