Rooted in our Christian ethos of care, dignity, and mutual respect, Tring School is committed to providing a safe environment where every student feels valued, listened to, and supported—both within our school grounds and across the wider community.
To make speaking up as simple as possible, our online reporting portal allows students, parents, and carers to easily notify us of any worries or incidents
What sort of concerns can you report?
- Wellbeing & Safety: Worries about your own or a friend’s emotional health, home life, or personal safety.
- Bullying or Unkindness: Experiences of bullying, peer pressure, discrimination, or cyberbullying.
- Online & Digital Safety: Concerns regarding social media, inappropriate online content, or digital harassment.
- Community Concerns: Issues relating to anti-social behavior or safety outside of school grounds.
Submitting a Report

- Confidentiality & Anonymity: Submissions can be made anonymously. However, providing your contact details helps us investigate thoroughly, offer immediate tailored support, and keep you updated. Rest assured, all named reports are handled discreetly by our dedicated staff.
Our Review Process
- Initial Assessment: Reports are directed immediately to the Tring School Designated Safeguarding Team.
- Action Plan: The Safeguarding Team will evaluate the report and connect the student with the most suitable support system—such as their Form Tutor, Pastoral Leader or School Chaplain.
- External Agencies: Where an issue involves safety outside of school or wider local concerns, we collaborate with appropriate local agencies or Hertfordshire Support Services to maintain safety.

Non-urgent submissions are reviewed within 1 to 2 working days.
