There are many types of degrees, so deciding which course to do is a big and often daunting decision.

  • Unifrog: This helpful University research tool categorises Universities according to ‘aspirational’ (top of your range), ‘solid’ (in the middle) and ‘safe’ (at the bottom).

  • What Uni: Helps students find universities and courses using their University Comparison Tool.
  • Push: An interactive website with loads of useful advice, videos, plus an informative blog and student newsletter.

University Events, Open Days, Taster Days & Webinars

  • Uni Taster Days: It’s always worth going on a couple of taster days. Students should also attend open days for Universities they are interested in.
  • London subject taster courses: A wide variety of HE subject related free 1 day courses in London usually in late June and early July. 
  • Open Days: Use this site to find out when universities have their Open Days.
  • UK University search webinars: A bank of webinars on all aspects of the University application process. They also run live webinars every Wednesday.
