Open Evening 2021

Normally, nothing delights us more than welcoming families to visit Tring School, however, the current situation precludes us from doing so at the moment.

Although a Virtual Visit cannot replace the experience of visiting us in person, we hope it will give you a sense of the values-driven education that our students experience and an insight into Tring School.

Head of School Mrs Sally Ambrose

SIAMS Inspection 2019

"Students say the Christian message of the school and its values create an exceptionally strong community in which they feel known and cared for".

"Parents believe that because staff respect the dignity and worth of every individual, their children do the same".

Every child is treated as an individual and learns through a tailored curriculum which offers them a flexible, exciting and ever-expanding range of subject choices.

Tring School seeks to provide its students with a high quality learning environment and is committed to maximising the abilities of each student within a broad and balanced curriculum. Students become autonomous learners through extension work and peer or self-assessment, which encourages them to stretch and challenge themselves and to aspire to achieve the highest levels.

Initially, students will follow a varied programme which includes: English, Maths, Science, Design & Technology, French, Spanish, Geography, History, Art, Drama, Music, Physical Education and Philosophy & Religious Studies.

As part of our 'virtual' open evening we have invited subjects to give a 'flavour' of their departments, we hope you enjoy the videos,

"The school offers pupils an extremely wide range of extracurricular activities. Pupils are enthusiastic about the many trips, visits and cultural activities organised by the school because it helps them to understand what they are studying in greater depth".

The project to rebuild the majority of Tring School

Work started in May 2020 to prepare the ground for the erection of a temporary Modular Village, a two storey building containing 35 classrooms, labs, offices and amenities. This construction was completed in late August enabling the staff to move in at the end of the month with students being in the classrooms from 2 September onwards.

We need your help! The Government has paid for the majority of the new building and they have also paid for most of the fixtures and fittings. However, a lot of these are fairly basic and the school took the decision to upgrade many of them. There are also quite a few additional items that we feel will bring enormous benefits to our students and will change their experience and education at the school from good to AMAZING.

Our funds are limited and so we are asking for the support of the current and future parents, the community, local business, friends and relatives and all of the previous students or the alumni of the school.  Please visit our donation page here The Big School Fit Out
