Darkwood Manor

DO

Make a prop of an item that may have been found when the visitors explored Darkwood Manor eg Mrs Brown’s diary, an enchanted mirror or a deadly potion.

Visit some locations that might inspire you, such as a church or some ruins. How could this link to the themes of Darkwood Manor?

Greek Theatre

DO

Design and or make a mask for the Greek God Zeus.

If you are going on holiday to Cornwall take a trip to the Minack Theatre.  It is an open air Greek style theatre.

READ

Take out and read a book about Greek Theatre from the LRC.  They have some interesting books on Greek Theatre and Theatre History.  Speak to one of the LRC members of staff to point you in the right direction.

Create a role on the Wall for Eric.

The outline of a body is drawn on a large sheet of paper. Words or phrases describing the character are written onto the drawing - such as physical appearance, age, gender, location and occupation, likes, dislikes, friends, enemies, opinions, motivations, secrets and dreams.
