In Year 1RH English we will be writing instructions. Yesterday we had our Hook lesson and made jam sandwiches! We talked about which order to do each part in and discussed what might happen if we changed the order. We then got to sample our creations! Photos available on our Facebook page
The end of term is often chance to stop and reflect back on what has been achieved over the last term or longer. Weeks of term are so busy that we often don’t realise how much goes on. We had a lovely week in Nursery last week! The children have loved our book, "Each Peach Pear Plum," we have had lots of discussion about characters, authors and illustrators, and play revolving around fairy stories. The children made a story map of the book, drew their favourite book characters to make puppets, and even enjoyed tasting delicious fruits! We all voted for our favourite fruits in Maths and made simple graphs to display the data. Photos available on our Facebook page
Such a memorable evening showcasing such musical talent at Dundale. Choir sounded amazing as always - and so many children involved. Solos, duets all brilliant. Piano, ukelele, guitar, drums not to mention Dundale's first rock band. So proud of each and every child tonight showing the confidence to perform to a large audience and with so much energy. Thank you to all the adults that helped make it possible - ex-pupils, parents and a special thank you to Mrs McKenna. Our Facebook page
