Tring School Trust
What is the Trust?
Tring School Trust was formed as charity in 1991 with the objective of raising extra funding to
support the school in providing
the best possible education for its students. The Trust is a registered charity, No.281520, and there are three Trustees, who are at any particular time the current Headteacher, Chair of Governors and Chair of the Friends of Tring School.
What have we done so far?
Over £85,000 has been raised for Tring School since the Trust began. This money has funded the purchase of many different types of equipment to enable students to benefit. Here are just a few examples of what has been provided over the years.
How can you help?
Every donation helps, no matter how small. It adds up very quickly. Take a class of 30 students and this is what we could do:
£2 per child per month could provide further video resources or additional library books or computer software.
£5 per child per month would generate enough funds in a year to buy another computer.
£10 per child is enough to buy a trumpet or 4 violins or 5 guitars every month.
Multiply this across the school and we could generate enough funds to buy another minibus every year!
Every pound you give goes directly to help Tring School
Shouldn’t the Government be funding this?
Perhaps you think they should, but they don’t. We are talking about extras. The Government funds the basic educational requirements. The trust aims to give the students of Tring School an edge by providing additional resources, be that computer software, microwave ovens, a kiln or anything else which the school feels will be of benefit.
What do you need to do now?
Giving couldn’t be simpler. Just print the Standing Order Instruction, fill it in and send it to the school - we will do the rest. A standing order is set up on your behalf. This is entirely under your control so you are free to cancel at any time by telling your bank.
If you’re a tax payer, that helps too
Remember with Gift Aid, for every £1 you donate, the Inland Revenue will give us another 28p. This money goes directly to the school for the benefit of the students. If you pay income tax, please complete the Gift Aid section on the form for both regular and one-off donations.
