What’s it about? |
Travel and Tourism is one of the worlds biggest industries, it is also one of the most interesting. Travel and Tourism at Tring School provides students with an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge in this exciting, interesting and rewarding subject. The course is flexibly structured to give candidates plenty of choice to form qualifications that are individual to them and their interests within the subject area.
The course of study is designed so that it can be undertaken by candidates entering the area for the first time. The key is having an interest in any form of travel!
In year 12 students have the option of beginning a single or double award in the subject. If opting for the single award students will study 3 units leading to a AS level qualification. The double award will be six units and is equal to the gaining of 2 AS levels. In year 13 the student would then complete the A2 in a similar format.
